1st Annual Skeet Shoot for Autism Speaks

The 1st Annual Skeet Shoot for autism Speaks was a huge success. We had 16 participants and raised just under $1,000. The crew at the "Keystone Height Sportsmen Club" were AwEsOmE!! It was nice to see a community come togerther for a great cause! We had a lot of fun watching the action. Even if you did not shoot there were raffles at everyone took advantage of.  The following are the winners

BBQ Cookout for Autism Speaks!

The BBQ Cookout was a success. Nigel's Crew raised over $1,100 for Autism Speaks. We were so excited with the turnout. It is nice that the community gets together to support a good cause. Autism hits home for my house. Nigel is going to be 10 this year and we are so proud of him. Everyday he grows and everyday we get stronger.
A BiG thanks to the Keystone Heights community for coming outand supporting Autism Speaks!!

 

Nigel has been doing great. I could not be more proud! Summer is coming and trying to get it planned for him. He is going to summer school so that will keep him some what busy. We are planning our vacation with Nigel out of state. we are so excited. We are going to take him to the mountains. Cross your fingers :)

We have started him in baseball. He is playing with the Field of Dreams in St. Johns. He has only played 2 games and is so excited for his 3rd :)

I know that it has been some time since I posted on here. The holidays have come and gone and a new year has begun. I am excited for what the new year has instore for my son Nigel. We as a fmaily have grown and are coming up with new and exciting ways to teach and help him with having autism.
